what is food technology?

Hey there ,Food technology one of the most welcoming world nowadays...so, what is food technology?

 Food technology a branch of chemical science and was first founded by NICOLA APPERT he is the father of canning as well as for food technolgy since he was the first scientist who invented a method for preserving the food. 

Other than food technology there are many food related sciences for example, food processing technology, canning technology, dairy technology, poultry technology, even agricultural engineering is also some what associated with food Technology because it is too related with food.

 Now , 

who are food technologists? 

Food technologists are the one who involve in the production , processing, safety, storage, preservation and packaging of foods. 

The role of the food technologist is not so easy they should be very cautious in handling the food. In many food industries, the positions of the persons who has studied food technology and food related sciences can work as a food technologist, food nutrititionist, food analyst, food safety officer, food insepctor, work in R&D etc...

 Nowadays it's very obvious that food technologist have a greater demand in the industries. The main aim of each and every food technologist will be "SAY NO TO FOOD WASTE".
